Traveling Tips During a Pandemic
Here is your quick checklist when traveling on vacation or business trip.
Domestic
- Get vaccinated
- Carry your CDC card and or keep your QR code as proof of vax on phone
- Pack you PPE: multiple Face Masks, Hand Sanitizer, Disinfectant Wipes
- Take several Rapid Test with you (with reporting is desirable)
- Bring along OTC cold medications to relieve minor cold or covid symptoms
- Wash hands and social distance from others, when possible
- Be prepared, call ahead to learn of any covid restrictions at hotels, parks and restaurants
International
- Proof of vaccination and booster is required in many countries
- Bring CDC Card and or QR code on smartphone as proof of Vax
- Take several assortments of face masks (include comfortable fitting reusable masks, as well as, N95 or KN95)
- PPE: hand sanitizer and disinfectant wipes
- Donāt forget to wash hands often and social distance, when possible
- Bring additional Rapid Test with you, preferably with reporting
- Donāt forget to bring OTC cold medications to relieve minor cold or covid symptoms
- Call ahead and learn of covid policies at restaurants, parks and hotel resorts
